Overview

Docking Bay 7 is one of 2 Quick-Service eateries at Galaxy’s Edge, along with Ronto Roasters.

It’s located directly next to the Smugglers Run entrance, in the Outpost section of Galaxy’s Edge.

There is both indoor seating in the hangar bay, as well as outdoor in a covered courtyard.

It will also offer Mobile Ordering from the Disneyland or Disney World apps.

Backstory

Per Disney: A multi-purpose transport shuttle docked on top of the large hangar will beckon guests into this fast-casual restaurant, a designated location for traveling food shuttles. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs is in much demand for his culinary skills, so he moves from site to site in a modified Sienar-Chall Utilipede-Transport that becomes a mobile kitchen and restaurant – like an intergalactic “food truck.” His travels across the galaxy allow him to fill his pantry with exotic ingredients he uses to make new and unusual dishes inspired by the fare he created during his time working for Maz Kanata in her castle on Takodana. Now, “Cookie” is proud to share his cuisine with visitors at Tuggs’ Grub, a “traveling diner for diners traveling.”

Interaction and Theming

Cookie’s food shuttle, now docked on the roof of the hangar bay, has lowered a series of pods into the hangar, carrying precious cargo – Chef Tuggs’ finest ingredients gathered from across the galaxy. Situated inside Docking Bay 7, other pods from Black Spire Outpost provide other produce, provisions, and equipment for all incoming freighters to the hangar. Guests may choose to dine indoors in the hangar bay or outside in a shaded courtyard.

The hangar bay has some cool elements, like open cargo containers, that the guests can eat in.

  • Smoked Kaadu Ribs – sticky pork ribs served with a blueberry corn muffin and cabbage slaw

  • Felucian Garden Spread (lunch only) – plant-based “kefta” served with herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish, and pita

  • Braised Shaak Roast (dinner only) – beef pot roast served with cavatelli pasta, wilted kale, and mushrooms

  • Ithorian Garden Loaf (dinner only) – plant-based “meatloaf” served with roasted vegetable potato mash, seasonal vegetables, and mushroom sauce

  • Fried Endorian Tip-yip Salad – marinated chicken served with mixed greens, roasted seasonal vegetables, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, and green curry ranch

  • Oi-oi Puff – raspberry cream puff with passion fruit mousse

  • Batuu-bon – chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and coffee custard

All Meals include choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small Dasani Water

  • Yobshrimp Noodle Salad (Disney Check) – chilled shrimp served with noodles, vegetables and sweet orange dressing

  • A Taste of Takodana (Disney Check) – black bean hummus served with edible soil with nuts, chilled dipping vegetables, and multi-grain crisps

  • Fried Endorian Tip-yip – crispy chicken served with macaroni & cheese and seasonal vegetables
